Is my order subject to state sales tax?

Orders shipped in the USA are subject to state and local sales tax. This does not include the subtotal after coupons have been applied.

Do you accept Insurance or Medicare?

We do not have any type of relationship with insurance companies and do not bill insurance companies. By remaining independent of insurance companies, we can maintain persistently low prices for our customers. That is not to say that you can't get reimbursed. We do e-mail the order receipt to every customer once the order is placed online. From there, the customer can use this invoice to submit it to the provider for reimbursement. Of course, we can't guarantee reimbursement because that is between the customer and the provider.

Do you have a catalog?

We are sorry, but we do not carry a catalog. We are continuously adding products to the site so it is impossible for us to have an accurate catalog to distribute to our customers. We just ask our customers to check our website for price and availability.

Why are your prices so low?

We keep our prices low by being an online company and not having the added expense of a retail store. We run on slim margins, but we are very confident that by providing excellent products and services we will continuously get repeat business from our satisfied customers.

Do you send out samples?

We are sorry, but we do not send out samples. We do suggest that you purchase the smallest quantity available to make sure that the product is what you are wanting. If you contact the manufacturer directly, sometimes they might send you out a sample.

HOW DO I CHANGE THE EMAIL ADDRESS ON MY ACCOUNT?

Because your email address is your account identifier, you unfortunately cannot change it on your account. If you absolutely must change your email address, you will need to contact customer service. However, since your orders are linked to the previous email address, your previous orders will only be accessible with the old email address.

HOW DO I FIND THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

You can find the status of your order by visiting our Track Order page.If you provided us with an email address when you registered with Direct Medical, you will receive an email notifying you that your order has shipped. You should receive an email with tracking information within 24 hours of submitting your order.

WHY AM I MISSING AN ITEM FROM MY ORDER?

We frequently ship from multiple warehouses, particularly when an order includes high quantities of a single item or includes items from more than one manufacturer. Due to this practice, there is a possibility that you may receive multiple packages from one or more of our warehouses. MY ORDER STATUS STILL SAYS PROCESSING - WHY IS THERE NO TRACKING?

Your order status will change to Complete once we upload your tracking number(s). We strive to ship orders as quickly as possible. In most cases, your order will ship within 24 hours, although we may not have a tracking number uploaded until the following day. All orders are processed daily, Monday through Friday, at 3:00 P.M. EST. If your order was placed after 3:00 P.M. EST it will not be processed until the following day and tracking may be delayed an additional 24 to 48 hours. Our average order arrives in 2 days, so it is not uncommon for you to receive your order before tracking is uploaded.
